Small darkish spots on your skin are usually called blackheads and are known as clogged open pores. Well the whiteheads are opposite of the blackheads. Blackheads are usually closed pores fill with skin debris, sebum and keratin. They are not health issue but certainly are not pleasant for the eye. They usually appear on the nose and chin and look really unattractive.
Natural remedies can be of great help here, if we don’t want to spend time in beauty salons and treat your face with different chemical compounds. Not all of the cosmetic products are beneficial for the skin as they claim to. Luckily there is an alternative way to do it and protect of side effects. These are some of the best natural remedies for removal of blackheads:
CINNAMON AND HONEY
Needed:
- Raw honey
- Cinnamon powder
- Cotton strips
Preparation:
Mix the honey and cinnamon and then apply it onto the blackheads. Press a cotton strip over it and leave it for 3 to 5 minutes. Then, remove the strip slowly and rinse the face. At the end, apply a moisturizer.
LEMON JUICE
Needed:
- A bit of honey
- A bit of yogurt
- A pinch of salt
- A bit of lemon juice
- A bit of milk
- A bowl
Preparation: Blend the yogurt, honey, salt, and lemon juice. Then, scrub the affected areas with it.
Repeat the procedure daily for 12 days.
EGG WHITE
Needed:
- An egg
- A clean towel
- A bowl
- A bit of toilet paper
Preparation:
First, wash your face and pat it dry. Next, separate the yolk from the white and then apply the egg white onto the affected areas. Then, put the toilet paper on top of it, pressing gently. Leave it for some time, until the egg white dries. Repeat the same procedure again with another layer.
When the mask dries off, the face will tighten. This is when you should peel of the mask and rinse any residue. Pat your face dry and apply moisturizer.
GREEN TEA
Needed:
- A napkin
- A bowl
- Green tea leaves
- Water
Preparation: Put a tbsp. of the green tea leaves in a bowl and add water. Mix them until you get a paste and then rub it onto the affected areas for 3 minutes. Then, rinse off the face and pat it dry with the napkin.
SUGAR
Needed:
- 4 tbsps. of jojoba oil
- A cup of brown or white sugar
- An essential oil of your choosing (optional)
- A glass jar
Preparation:
Mix the jojoba oil and sugar and add several drops of the essential oil you’ve chosen. Next, transfer the mixture into the jar and store it in a dark and cool place. Apply the mixture onto a wet face. Rub it gently onto the blackheads and leave it for 30 minutes. Afterwards, rinse it off with water and apply a moisturizer.
