Experts claim that the best way of eating garlic is on an empty stomach. When the stomach is empty the bacteria are unable to defend themselves which means the effects of garlic will be stronger. However eating raw garlic on an empty stomach is not something that anyone can do. Instead you can consume it prepared by the recipe for roasted garlic we have prepared to you.
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Clean the outer layers off the garlic and cut off the top of the bulb. Take a piece of tin foil and lay the clove flat on it. Then take an equally big piece of parchment paper, put it on the foils top and then place the garlic on the parchment paper.
Sprinkle some olive oil on the garlic and wrap them with the foil. As soon as the oven is ready, put them in and roast for about an hour. Then unwrap the garlic and wait until it cools down a bit before consuming it. Squeeze the bulbs gently to remove the cloves.
You can consume the garlic immediately or you can keep the cloves refrigerated in a container for a few days.
