In order to prevent diseases and maintain health the human body should be slightly alkaline. However, there are numerous factors that influence the pH value of our bodies and make it more acidic such as environment, processed foods, chemicals and stress.

- Constant fatigue
- Frequent shortness of breath
The body has mechanisms that try to regulate the pH levels as soon as they drop. The body does this by storing acidic substances in the liver, lungs and kidneys.
However, on the long run, the accumulation of these acidic substances attacks the healthy cells and makes them toxic, sick and damaged. If this issue persist these cells start to grow uncontrollably and spread to other body parts.
Chronic acidosis is most commonly caused by modern diet which is full of caffeine, alcohol, sugar and highly-processed foods. The food we consume is also rich in additives, pesticides and growth hormones, all of which are acidic.

Ingredients:
- 1 organic lemon
- 1 tablespoon of Himalayan salt
- 1 large glass jar
- 2 liters of purified water
Preparation:
Pour the water in the glass jar. Then, slice the lemon and add it in the water along with the Himalayan salt. Cover the jar and keep it for 12-24 hours at room temperature.
Use:
Alkaline water should be consumed first thing in the morning before you eat anything. You should drink 3 glasses on an empty stomach and you can continue consuming it through the day.
