Raw cocoa butter can also be very efficient for relaxing the muscles and also strengthening them.
Ginger is a spice that has a long history of being used as a natural remedy. If applied topically it promotes blood flow and cell regeneration.

Cayenne muscle and joint rub
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup of coconut oil
- ¼ cup of raw cocoa butter and/or coconut oil
- ¼ cup of grated beeswax
- 2 teaspoons of organic cayenne powder
- 1 teaspoons of organic turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon of organic ginger powder
- 10 drops of peppermint essential oil
- glass jar (4oz.)
Preparation:
- Put the beeswax, coconut oil and the cocoa butter in a Pyrex glass and put the glass in a saucepan filled with 2-3 inches of water.
- Stir the mixture occasionally until everything is melted.
- Put the ginger, turmeric and cayenne powder and stir the mixture again.
- Remove from heat and then add the peppermint oil.
- Place the mixture in the glass jar and wait until it cools completely before you seal it.
Storage: The remedy can be kept refrigerated for 6-8 weeks.
Use: Apply topically on the affected areas.
Note: Cayenne and peppermint essential oil are very strong so you should always wash your hands after using the rub.
