You’ve been sitting on the toilet wrong your whole life. This is how to do it right

Did you know that health issues such as constipation, hemorrhoids, appendicitis, IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) and even heart attacks can be caused by the western toilet? Dr. Mercola has stated that after examining lots of data regarding this issue, there is a big connection between the western toilet and the abovementioned health issues. This is probably because western toilet changes the position of our bowels which results in changes of the stool anatomy.

You probably don’t put much thought into it, but what is your usual sitting position when on the toilet? Is it this one?

Or maybe this one? Did you know that this is actually the least healthy position?

If you empty your bowels while your hips are bent at 90-degree position, you are actually disrupting the natural intestine passage. In order to finish the “movement” the only possible way is to exert the laws of physics. This position can lead to various health issues such as irritable bowels, hemorrhoids, constipation and in the worst case – colon cancer.

However, if your hips are bent at 35 degrees you enable the movement to be more natural and almost effortless. The squatting position is perfectly natural and it is normal in numerous cultures around the world. Unfortunately, the Western world does not consider it a civilized way of emptying your bowels.

Dr. Mercola also claims that efforts have been made to create devices that would help people return to the natural position. Squatting is also an excellent exercise that you can perform in the gym to have stronger and more attractive thighs. Because it is very hard to convert the toilet in order to be able to bend the knees the right way, you can place a stool in front of you so that you can put your feet up. So give it a try you have nothing to lose.
